Leith Mint Casino

At Leith Mint Casino in Edinburgh we held a fantastic event in October in aid of a local charity, St Columbus Hospice. The hospice is for terminally ill cancer patients.

All the staff in the casino were asked for ideas and a suggestion from one of our Pit Bosses was to have a race night.

Members of staff took to the streets, speaking to local businesses, telling them about the event, on a mission to sell tickets.. We also had our reception staff on the case phoning local businesses and asking for donations for our raffle. The response was brilliant, we ended up with some fab prizes. Our chefs worked really hard preparing a wonderful buffet and our hospitality team were run off their feet. Everyone who attended the event had a great time.

We raised £920 for an excellent cause.
